Hi Tina,

it is a great idea. I tried it a couple of weeks ago here:

The haiku was rather more successful than the gogyohka and I asked for suggestions, which were definitely helpful.

In this case, I like both, but the gogyohka best, because it invokes a feeling that I think many of have had, waiting for the fireflies!

Storm, yours are both great too, and I appreciate your description of the process.
When I was writing, there was an experience I wanted to catch, and I kept asking myself, how much of that experience would fit gracefully into each size of poem.
