I have my final exam on Friday, in the material "the rear view mirror" metaphor which suggests that if one anticipates the future by looking at the past, he will miss on spotting opportunities brought about by forces driving change.
Included in the material "the boiling frog" metaphor, since Haiku poets are obsessed by frogs, I will leave it to you to find its meaning
