Breath & Rebirthing

To rebirth yourself anew, breathe circular and rhythmic. It does not matter whether slow or fast. What matters is the exhale being in harmony with the inhale. Meaning duration of exhale equal duration of inhale. Breathe for 45 min (my personal recommendation). Invite someone to hold the space for you. Being witnessed while you are rebirthing yourself has its magic as the healing expands to the one witnessing while the witnesser activates the one breathing even more: Win-win situation. Some peole of rebirthing community talk about contamination from the one breathing to the witnesser. I am not of their view: Whatever gets activated in the witnesser is a blessing in disguise. The only issue is not to overburden yourself as witnesser. I do not recommend witnessing more than one rebirthing per day as the witnesser much like who is breathing, has to integrate the experience before moving on.

When you are breathing circular and rhythmic your brain waves get to a similar status like hypnosis. Therefore, repeating affirmations while rebirthing is so powerful. It is about reprogramming your mind when its capacity to integrate the change, is optimized.

Sondra Ray who is a pioneer in rebirthing (she was the disciple of Leonard Orr, founder of rebirthing, then created her own way with 'liberation breathing' as she likes to name her style of breathing), uses an interview of 12 steps before rebirthing, like a review of life. It activates the observer within. I highly recommend her Iceland Quest and Bali Quest (workshops in breathing done in those extra special places of high vibration). Yet, kindly note, the one who rebirthes you is yourself.
