Traveler's note: Abu Ayyoub Ansari

In March, I traveled to Istanbul for couple of days. I found my lost treasure in visiting Abu Ayyoub Ansari mosque: a sacred site. In the courtyard of the mosque, there is a spring water: so sweet and of high energy. About Abu Ayyoub Ansari, the story goes that prophet Mohammed went to a new city; followers in that city, flocked to invite him to be honored guest in their respective homes. Mohammed said that his horse will choose the person whose invitation will be accepted. That person was Abu Ayyoub Ansari. By being there, I could sense how generous Abu Ayyoub is with his ever present energy. The mosque is also surrounded by 'Sahaba' tombs. Passing through the cemetery, one can take the cable car (telefrique) to go up hill (few minutes) to cafe Lotti (it seems it is famous among local writers), have tea and enjoy the scenery.

If you choose to go there, drink plenty of that blessed water with precious awareness & choose to go down hill from cafe Lotti on foot. Kindly, do send my best regards to him.

(How to go there: go to Galata bridge, few steps to its left side, there is a bus station, buy 2 way ticket first then take bus number 99A. Tell the bus driver to inform you when it is your stop. Once out of the bus, walk on few steps and the mosque is on your right side. P.S: Turkish name for Abu Ayyoub Ansari mosque is Eyup Ansari Camii)
